Scratches of past, present and future
I am lazy. So lazy, longing to run away from work, to lay down in the sun and do absolutely nothing. I am working too slowly, I can’t concentrate my mind to stay at work issues, it lingers randomly over a million little things. I admit, I’m sick of work, tired of it, no ambition, no desire for the moment. I want to hibernate for awhile, sleep, eat, and more sleep.

The past…..is truly becoming past. Some things are fading away, become more and more blurry, until they vanish. Some things are filtered and become precious memories I dearly remember off. Our team’s last event as National Board of AIESEC Romania turned out beautifully. The annual Alumni Hall of Fame was one of the most joyous gatherings I’ve seen, over 300 people joined, and it felt really good to hear the President of Unilever and the CEO of GeCad acknowledging the importance of AIESEC. Either than that, many meetings with my colleagues, the same questions and struggles that we face: what to do, where to go, how to build?

The present..…is still blending, but settled down. I signed my work contract two days ago! Yes, I am officially employed, and will start work at the end of May. So until November I’m still in Romania, working to start-up a company and make the first international csr conference taking place in my country. I feel this was the best decision for me from all perspectives. I was pushing myself so hard to choose a traineeship that I realized I am not ready yet to leave. And the job itself is a mix of business administration, project management and csr. Just the thing for me!

The future…..is left aside for now. I am focusing on the present in this moment, I’m too busy on living my times and enjoying them. I have enough time to play with my brain till November, so I am giving all my attention to a bit more minor details, like finding a place to move in, going out more with my friends, dancing, reading. La dolce vida!

Pa-pa-pa-ra-pa...I'm loving it :)
Crazy times behing, and very crazy times ahead! And I'm just livin' it all, and just loving it!

I'm stepping into more and more energy as the weather becomes warmer and brighter. I realize how much I missed the sunny days in Bucharest. Spring is the best time to be in the city, everything is vivacious, and so incredible alive. The air is refreshing, warm enough to wear light clothes, but still cold to keep cool.

My weekend was completely in order with the crazy schedule: left for two days in the mountains, first day of work, second day of leisure. I had the pleasure to work again with the wonderful trainers from Human Invest, and to experience again the great work atmosphere ex-aiesecers have :) Mixing business with pleasure was a good choice, my family came along for a weekend at the mountains and we spent the time together. My little brother was of course the trend setter for the activities, but I eventualy managed to pursuade him to visit the Peles Castle, the former residence of the Romanian Royal family.
