Intro
I have to start with appologies. I hate this word....Thing is, I couldn't write. First, there was the lack of time. The crazy rhytm of work, the frenzy at the office. Then, there was the lack of desire. No words came out of my mind, no letters came out of my fingertips. Now, there is a bit of sadness. A mood that took over me, and revived the need to say...something....whatever it is...

So here I am, sitting in front of the blank document, and deciding to take off from where I left, telling the story of our journey through Asia. But first, let me tell you who we were.

The characters

Oltea, hot shot manager with one big MNC, loves pampering herself with aromatic lotions (thus her bag was the heaviest of all!!!). Drop-dead-smart, perky, and with one crazy sense of humor, she is the living proof that the best things come in small packages!

Dodo, consultant and experiential trainer by day, funky street dancer by night! This girl will surely woo you with her hip set of moves as she swings across the dance floor. We experienced her passion for music as she gathered names of bands and songs from all over the countries we’ve visited.

and little ol’ me, Joanna, Iona, Juana and many other names given as apparently my own is too hard to pronounce in Asian countries. Twisted and adventurous girls, who developed a strange obsession for Hello Kitty, obsession that led to the purchase of several much useful and needed items, such as pencil box, make up carrier, or the above seen earrings from this picture.

Our plan was to travel for 3 weeks around SE Asia, and explore places in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, then spend some chill out days in Krabi (Thailand) and eventually fly back home from Singapore. As always, our carefully planned things from home didn’t match the reality!! But it’s the unplanned adventures that make the best memories, and we got back with some unforgettable ones!

No more intro words from my side…I'll just let you discover the stories....

Back…home…
Just landed back yesterday, after some of the most intensive 3 weeks of my life. A lot of adventures in the 5 countries we visited (Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia and Singapore). A lot of mixed feelings now that I’m back, confusion, longing, joy and heartache altogether. One thing is sure: I have found again my freedom!
my freedom

Stories and pics later this week, today I am still terribly jetlagged :(
